What alternate costumes would you like to see?

Alternate costumes are cool, but they seem very randomly distributed among the cast with characters. What characters would you like to see receive alternate costumes? My short list would be
*Give us multiple incarnations of Link via costumes. They already essentially started doing this in mainline Zelda now via costumes. Zelda and Ganondorf would fit well into this too.
*Similar to the above, I want to see Samus wearing different suits. Almost every game gives Samus multiple different looks and it'd be nice if that was emphasized a little bit more than just via palette swaps.
*Richter and Daisy are pointless as individual characters as they are functionally identical to Simon and Peach. So I think they're better off as costumes like Alph and the Koopalings. For Castlevannia in particular, I'd really like it if the playable character was simple named Belmont and all the different costumes were the different Belmont characters from throughout the series like with Bowser Jr and the Koopalings.

Oh, boy...there are plenty of alts I want to make for each character, some more drastically changed than others. Before I do that, though, I'd just like to go on a quick tangent:

Yesterday, Capcom released a whole slew of alternate costumes for each character in Street Fighter 6. That sounds like a lot, and the costumes themselves are very well made, but:

Long story short, you can only get them with Fighter Coins and you have to buy Fighter Coins to get them faster. Monetization like this is why, if Smash did more full-on costumes, I don't want them to be paid DLC.

Actually, this got me thinking about how with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Nickelodeon demanded that the alternate costumes for every single character only be pulled from official alternate outfits. What would a Smash game be like with a mandate like this? At the very least, I already thought about this with characters like Link and Bowser Jr.

while alt skin are cool i want to see more of koopalings treatment what i mean by that are characters like

can still get more characters through alt skin if each of them is gonna be 8 characters at once

I was going to say that wouldn't be practical for as many of the characters with only one appearance, but honestly, I can't think of any single character from the roster who doesn't have an alternate costume of some sort they could potentially use, assuming we're allowed to have Alf and Olimar situations. Even R.O.B has offical colour variations. Pyra and Mythra might be a bit odd as their only canon alternate costume is the same for both of them (Pneuma), but they already do that via palette swaps so it doesn't seem to be a problem (alternatively, Mythra at least has her more stripperific actual design from her game).

I agree in full with he Belmonts, but isn't Hero already doing that pretty exhaustively?

I do find it strange they gave Olimar Alf and then that was just it. Why not Louis and Brittany? The president and Charlie are a big bigger physically so it might not work but the other pilots could be represented. It's kind of odd, I get the feeling that Miyamoto and Nintendo like Pikmin a lot, but it never actually gets very much in Smash. I mean, it doesn't exactly need a second playable character since the Pikmin are the playable characters in essence, but there are plenty of Pikmin bosses they could have given us for smash.

I do like the Koopalings, however I think it would be fun to see two diff characters for Bowser Je and the Koopalings, with colors for bowser jr hair and bib, but idk what I should do for the 8th koopaling

What smallish differences though? They already have differences in that they look completely distinct (even more so than a lot of Echo fighters). Do you basically just want them to have two different spots on the character select screen and two different classic mode sets?

King d Mind seems to be shadow dedede possesd by the antagonist of Amazing mirror Dark Mind! (apparently dark mind possesd knightmare in that game)

You know how Pit and Dark Pit’s neutral special attacks are slightly different? It would be like that for the Koopas, I was thinking like the Cannonball for Bowser Jr and the magic wand spell thing for the Koopalings.
