One of my favourite platformers of all time, and my opinions on the likes of Pythra and Bayonetta are akin to that one scared Smithers meme so a single-digit-aged banshee-screaming criminal forehead gremlin who's entire body is covered by heavy duty demolition machinery coloured like an alphabetically-ordered 2000s-era computer keyboard for kids is my ideal female protag.

Literally just make her the stage. Put her "head" in the background and let the GLaDOS player make platforms, portals, turrets, lasers, and companion cubes randomly shoot out of the terrain and blast zones. The only way to damage her would be by attacking cores that she can move around but can't attack with. I also have no idea how any of this would work but she would definitely be a "boss-like" character in the most literal sense.
Also she has multiple custom insults for every fighter.

I Would Love Impa But again thats cause shes super important to Zelda!
The only thing we might be Lacking are maybe some more Younger/ Smaller Female Chars we only really have Miis and Villagers (Including Isabelle) who are all technically adults!
Again ill have to say most choices here are just weird asside from Dixie Kong who is fully desrved aswell as some Others Like Toadette (Eventho shes 100% gonna be a Costume!)
And cause i mostly focus on Zelda and Kirby there arent really any Likely Candidates i want!

Im mean MAdeline might be neat but i rather have The Human or Kris in The Game (Who are both Androgynous/ Genderless anyways) and they as well as Shovel Knight and Shantae (Which to be fair is also Female) Seem more likely!

Lucario originated from a movie. The obvious designation here is the intent - neither Amy or Lucario were intended to be exclusive to external media, they were included in tandem with and to drive interest toward games on the horizon. There’s really no argument that she’s not a video game character. There’s a reason she has representation in Smash and Sally Acorn doesn’t.

Calling Amy Rose a manga character is kind of just being willfully ignorant of why these barriers are put in place to begin with. It’s not to arbitrarily gate off characters because their promo material came first, it’s to keep Smash pure as a celebration of video games. Is Master Chief a book character, because a Halo novel predated the game by a month or two?
