This may be a really controversial and dangerous thing to say here, but It does baffle me how everytime after a Nintendo Direct airs people start posting fanart on Twitter of every single reveal from It. I'm sure ya'll know which fanarts I'm talking about, the ones where they show every reveal as if they were a family photo.
Why don't people do these for the PlayStation and Xbox events? They also tend to announce cool stuff and such, yet all I see are ****posts and memes about them.
I do have a gut feeling that people on Twitter and even IRL circles see Nintendo stuff as their comfort thing, and besides with Pokémon tend to go incredibly soft with the company. Not saying there isn't any criticism (because let's be real, there is a lot of It), but compared to something such as Sony, Disney or even SEGA there does seem to be a lot of bias towards Nintendo.
