One time I saw a game with ranai and he was able to use the tree to cover a plethora of ledge getup options with tree and uptilt. I can't find the link, but does anyone know some of the limitations of this?

I just find other top level villagers to have a very different and somewhat lame playstyle compared to Ranai. As a spectator I don't mind people playing lame because it is a valid strategy but I feel like villager isn't one go carry it out. I just don't see other villagers exhibiting this...

Ranai is the reason that villager is both underrated and overrated. I strongly believe that if ranai started using a campy playstyle like most high level villagers, his results would drop very quickly and villager would plummet overall. I really hope to see the other great villager players...
