Yeah, which is great for me! I'm a very pressure heavy player so having the new dash attack worked great after I started playing a while ago. Sorry for the late reply BTW. I don't go on smashboards that much.

If you want to follow up the shine with f-tilt of f-smash after using it as a counter then just Shine, jump out of shine, wavedash to follow your opponent and do your desired grounded move.

I personally like PM wolf's dash attack and up smash animations more than his brawl one. They seem more aggressive and appear to suit wolf's style more than a back flip and scissors kick. The pulling in of opponents with his up smash in brawl was helpful, but I just found it kind of strange...

So about multishining.... Anyone got a better idea how to do it than twitching your thumb between y and b 4 frames apart?

For me, I don't like using the c-stick for aerials if I want to do them frame perfect or have them buffered because I'm used to X for short hopping. I just slide my thumb from X to A + Direction. But if you want that air control, then tap jump is probably a good idea.
