People are looking at the timing completely wrong. The era we need to be looking at isn't the late Switch. It's any game released from 2018 onward. Most of the Switch era is up for grabs. -

Only the red screen effect does. Berserk buffs your fist until you exit a level...or several years pass before you do, but you're hopefully not going to stay on a Doom level for that long.
